Meet Our Expert Team

Dr. Patrick Lau grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and completed his medical training at New York Medical College. He has been practicing family medicine since 2001 and co-founded Natomas Family Practice in 2004. Dr. Lau is passionate about preventive care and enjoys treating patients of all ages. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, volleyball, and competing in triathlons.

Dr. Steve Hwang has been practicing family medicine in Sacramento for 16 years. He co-founded Natomas Family Practice with Dr. Lau and focuses on treating acute and chronic illnesses while emphasizing preventive care. Dr. Hwang believes in making simple lifestyle changes to improve health and wellness.

Julia Chen completed her bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Rice University and her Physician Assistant training at George Washington University. She is passionate about primary care and preventive health, and enjoys board games and pickleball in her free time.

Sabrina Arsala graduated from UC Davis with her Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant. She is dedicated to providing excellent patient education and enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and tennis.

Brittany Nielsen is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a background in Exercise Biology and Nursing. She is passionate about family medicine and enjoys outdoor activities with her golden retriever.
